Model updates are almost a free lunchJust the last ~6 months, the upgrade from OpenAI GPT-4.1 to GPT-5.1 (let’s not mention the dreadful GPT-5) was night and day: better answers, more reliable tool calls, faster responses, less processing errors, better schema output. You can see similar patterns for the Opus 4.5 to Opus 4.6 and the Gemini upgrades.
